What does it mean to be Ohlone now?
As a community of just over 1000, the Ohlone continue to thrive as a culture because of their commitment to traditions, language, and passing wisdom from generation to generation. The Ohlone exhibit consists of photographic portraits of Ohlone individuals and recorded insights from their own experience. Photographed by Ruth Morgan, the photos convey their stories, as much as the oral histories collected to record their experiences in the here and now.
Join us for a reception on Sept. 20, 2018, 6-8pm.
Location: Rosenberg Library, 2nd Floor Gallery
Guest Speakers: Ann-Marie Sayers and Kanyon Sayers-Roods
